Eva really loves the swing. It puts her to sleep sometimes. On this particular day she became extremely sleepy.
First Splinter!

Yesterday, Eva received her first of what I believe to be many splinters to come. She had been holding wood chips at the park. It never dawned on me that she might get a splinter. Eva’s Dad noticed it during her nightly bath. Using precision skills Eva’s Dad expertly removed the offending splinter from Eva’s pinky while she was nursing with the use of only a small spotlight and tweezers. (He missed his calling as a brain surgeon.) Remarkably, Eva wasn’t really bothered by the splinter or its removal.
